How does pricing work for Whole and Half Cow Shares?

Our pricing is designed to be fair, transparent, and tied directly to national beef values.

Here’s the simplified version:

  1. We deliver your cow to the butcher on the next processing date.

  2. The butcher records the hanging weight.

  3. Your cost is based on the national beef average, with customers typically saving significantly compared to grocery store pricing.

  4. You only pay for the beef you actually take home — your finished beef weight.

  5. Your deposit is applied to your total invoice.

Most families pay:

  • Half Cow: $1,500–$2,200

  • Whole Cow: $2,600–$3,500

Final totals vary by the size of the animal and the beef market at the time of processing.
